A. We offer a lifetime warranty on these for a reason, they will hold 0 with a laser mounted and are even sturdy enough to use in conjunction with an upper rail

    This piece is awesome. I’ve never been able to do much with my 1911-A1 without spending a bundle on aftermarket parts or expensive smith work. This inexpensive piece changes all of that. I mounted an Olight BALDR Mini on my weapon giving me a floodlight with laser option. What a difference. 1911 sights aren’t the greatest so having a laser backup is critical at my age. Thank you R/C for coming along with this grip and rail system. It’s a game changer for me.

    First off I’ll say thank you recover tactical for fixing FedEx screw up by giving it to someone other than me and shipping out another set! Now holy hell I love the feel on my compact 1911 grip teamed with the finger groove grip this setup rocks. Being able to utilize a weapon light on my 3.1 inch barrel ati titan is the best grip set out, but if u have a compact like mine you’ll have to shave it down some to be flush. But still love this grip. Thank you again recover tactical for this awesome product now to get it to the range!

    Thought I would try this for a Kimber Ultra Carry II. The CC3C is priced low enough that it was worth the risk.
    I am NOT disappointed.
    Like the few others that have installed on super compacts, I had to shorten the rail on the CC3C a bit so that it was flush. I also had to shave the bottoms of the grips so that my magazine would seat.
    Very easy mods and I love the result.
    Once the screws are in place, the CC3C is rock solid and has a great feel. Though the rail is short, it is still very functional and I think my Ultra looks awesome. Flash light is on the way.

    I think you are referring to this model? If yes, with a barrel length of 8.74in and a height of 5.51in, it would be a "Full Size" , double-stack 1911. If that is the case, we do not have a system for your model. We do have a system for Full Size 1911's - the CC3H & CC3P Grip & Rail Systems -  which are designed for full size 1911's - but no double stacks - only standard full size 1911's.

    11. I’m interested in this accessory. I have a Colt Mark IV Series 80 Officer’s Model .45 ACP. Built in 1989. The measurement of the handle screws match up with your diagram. However, the measurement of space from the front of trigger guard to the end of the barrel is closer to 2.5 inches rather than the 2.1 inches shown in your illustration. Just want to make sure of compatibility before I order it.

    Not sure, but check your weapon against these measurements to know for certain
    A It will need to be modified slightly but yes. The rail will have to be shortened so that the CC3C is flush with the end of the Ultra. Also the bottoms of the grips will need to be shaved do that the magazine seats without obstruction. Very small and easy modifications. I used a small tabletop belt sander.
