Hello Testing
Will this work with a DefenTac 680lm combo laser/light system??
We haven’t tested it with that specific system, so we can’t guarantee compatibility. However, based on the design, it does look like it could work with the HC11 holster.
It says right and left hand. I am assuming the paddle will attach to either side? Thanks
Yes, you'll be able to mount the paddle on either side.
Will this work with a Springfield Prodigy 4.25 with a TLR-8XG? I have your G7 but would like to get away with the rail extension.
The Recover HC11 Passive Retention Holster is specifically designed for 1911 pistols equipped with the Recover CC3H or CC3P grip and rail system. Since the Springfield Prodigy 4.25 has an integrated rail, it is not compatible with either the CC3H or CC3P, and therefore will not work with the HC11 holster.
Can the holster attach to a Blackhawk MOLLE platform?
As long as you have an adapter that's compatible with the Rota system of the HC11, it should work with your Blackhawk MOLLE setup.
Will this work with an olight buldr pro R?
We haven’t tested it with that specific model. However, it appears to be a bit bulkier compared to some compact and subcompact pistol lights, so fitment may be an issue.
Will this fit a Girsan 1911 .38 super?
No, the HC11 is not compatible with your pistol. The HC11 is designed specifically for 1911 models that do not have an integral rail and are compatible with the Recover CC3H or CC3P grip and rail system.
I have a red dot fitted instead of rear sights. Can you tell me the measurements of the clearance from the back of the slide to the holster (when inserted). I want to make sure it will clip in with red dot and plate behind it. My pistol is GSG 1911 in 22LR
It will not work with the HC11.
Can this be mounted to a drop leg platform?
Yes. It is compatible with dropleg platforms by IMI & Cytac

I bought this holster, Recover Tactical HC11 Universal Accessory Holster, from Amazon.com. It works wll with the CC3H cover on my 1911. It turned a low cost Tisas 1911 into a super daily carry around the farm. Add one of the paired tactical light, which fits great into the holster where the on\off switches are protected, and you have real nice setup. I have noticed, after a couple months of consistent wear around the farm, that there is a definite wear mark developing on the forward left section of the slide where it seems to rub on the holster where it is thickest. Could probably be fixed in the next mold, if it hasn't already. If it was a more expensive weapon, it would be a concern. I bought it to take some bumps.

I got this holster to work with my Mantis X training system. I really didn't have much expectations beyond that. I was very surprised at the fit. It was a little snug but it was new. After a month now of being my primary carry it had freed up and is very smooth. I am sure after another another month it will be even better.

I contacted Armscor in Pahrump, NV about adding a rail system to their M1911 series of sidearms and they recommended your CC3P grips, so I bought 2 for my Armscor 1911's from Amazon and they fit great! I added laser/light combos from different manufacturers to each one. Then I bought the HC11 Passive Retention Holster. At first, when I inserted the firearms into the holster, it was very tight and both or either laser/light would turn on with both weapons while passing through the rubber side retainers. I was determined to make them work. I found that inserting the firearm QUICKLY eliminated the issue. Retrieval from the holster is smooth and easy with no inadvertent laser/light engagement. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to add a rail to a 1911. They are a bit slick on the grips, so I added some rubber grip tape. I have carried a 1911 since 1987 and this product combination is solid! Great product, Great job, Keep up the Good Work!!

I do really like this holster and my issues may be singular to myself but they are worth noting. I have a full size 1911 clone and use the CC3H rail/grip system for my light mounts. The description says works with most lights, that has not been my experience. I first got this with the intention to use with olight baldr pro, it did not fit. It’s a larger light works on batteries and there was no way it could fit though the channel of the trigger guard. So I used a baldr S, the specs on the S and the mini are off per the website by “.1” in width and diameter. The S did not fit and by a magnitude larger than “.1” so in my opinion the mini would also not fit unless forced which could be what the other reviewer noticed on reholstering. Without attachments this is a fairly great holster and implemented with any of the wearable attachments fits great and is able to be canted however the user prefers. However the fact that 2 lights I have tried, and from what I know of the specs of a 3rd, did not fit I am hesitant to recommend to others.

I really like this holster. It’s comfortable to wear and stays secure on my waistband. It fits my 1911 very well even with the added Olight BALDR Mini mounted on it. Very secure. The only thing that keeps this from being a perfect five star is re-holstering my side arm. It is rather difficult to re-holster with one hand. Comes out easy but doesn’t slide back in easy at all. I’m hoping that with time and use it will break in and get easier. .
