I love my new CC3P Grip and rail system. The grips fit my hand better than stock from the extra width, the rail for my tactical light was a perfect fit, and the changeable grip panels gave me the option of different colors, and textures. Excellent product, durable and made for quality, awesome pricing, im definently a lifetime customer. Thanks

Skeptical at first. Ordered the grip and rail system for my Rock Island 1911 and it was an easy install and perfect fit. Very good quality and great looks. The rail system was a perfect fit for my Olight baldr mini. Wish that i can order just the grips alone to give the fun more variety in looks.

Received a crimson trace as a gift. I have a Sig 1911. It fit my gun perfectly and has a great feel. Easy to install. The laser unit fit perfectly on the rail. Can’t beat the price. Really impressed. 10 stars.

I have one for years now for my Rock Island GI. It did not quite fit as it would make the slide drag when chambering the next round. It never affected the overall reliability of the gun, but I didn’t like that. So, I took it back off and used a Dremel across the very top to shave it down. I used a grinding rock on the next to slowest speed. I worked it enough to where I could see a gap between the grip and the slide. Works perfectly now. With so many different 1911’s out there, it would be impossible to know that it will fit perfectly on every one of them. It needed a tweak, but works great now!

I picked up a CC3H grip and rail system for my GSG 1911 and I am more than happy with the fit and finish. The grip was a little tight on the right hand side of the frame due to the ambidextrous thumb saftey. I was planning on deleting the ambi saftey anyways and once I did everything was perfect. I’ve just fitted a laser to the rail and as expected, fit was perfect. I just received another set I bought to give as a birthday gift to fit a baretta 92fs and once again, absolute perfection. 110% to Recover Tactical. Everyone that owns a handgun without a rail needs one of these systems

Excellent design, doesn’t add a lot of width to the grip, deep grooves for shooting finger and thumb. Really modernized my 1911, and it looks really cool too.

Excellent product.. I have added one to each of my 1911s … very sturdy, solid fit … for me , these grips are the #1 solution for a rail system on the 1911 …. I utilize lights on both my pistols ..

While reading about the Recover, there are references to it fitting a full size 1911, down to, and including, the 4.25″ commander model. I have a Springfield Armory 4.0″ Range Officer Champion. I took a chance. Guess what? IT FITS. It fits really nicely I might add.
The end of the CC3P terminates about 1/2 inch under the end of the barrel. No frame/slide interference.
The only thing less than perfect about the CC3P unit, was a slight slickness of the polymer feel.
I took if back off and coated it with a very light coat of textured spray paint.
What a difference this made. Not only is it a very comfortable hold, but the texture coat gave it a firm grip.
So for all those concerned about the CC3P fit on a 1911 Commander fit, … no worries.

I got this for my full size R.I.A. and when I installed it, it was very tight up against the bottom of the slide. It was so tight that the slide would drag bad enough to where it wouldn’t go all the way forward after I racked it without a significant push forward. So I took it back off and bolted it back together without it on my pistol and a few times back and forth on some 400 grit sandpaper did the trick. It now fits pretty dang good. Overall it’s a nice little upgrade to add a rail and some good style. You just have to be aware of fitment on the clones.
