The XC2 should fit, but it doesn't. In fact, I tried other 80% pistol frames at the gun store and it didn't work. The first issue is that the light doesn't have what I believe to be called a T-Slot Rail / Crossbolt? but instead it has a proprietary Surefire Rail-Lock? mounting system which doesn't have an independently moving clamp rail like every other Surefire light which as you tighten the front screw, it pushes the entire unit down making it totally incapable of being zeroed and it almost seems as though it's meant specifically for Glocks. Now besides that, I believe it would fit, but the second issue is that the rail itself is made too narrow to accommodate that specific light because again, as that front screw is being tightened, the non moving rail on the light is pushed down beyond any ability for it to catch the rail because that proprietary front mount screw is suppose to catch between one of the rails but it can't because as you tighten the front screw, it has a sort of ramp on each side which is incapable of indexing any pic rail on the adapter. In fact, you can't have both screws tightened at the same time evidenced by the fact that I removed both screws to check where it would line up on the rail and only 1 of the 2 screws has has passthrough clearance at any given time making it again, impossible to mount properly. So either the light needs to be redesigned or the rail... Please advise. I'm willing to pay for a custom rail...

Hi Jason, thanks for the detail! Good to know. We will not be redesigning our rail to accommodate this particular SureFire light. The rail is compatible with most rail weapon lights but I guess the XC2 is not one of them. We also don't provide custom rails. Sorry.
How come the only light this will not work with at all is the Surefire XC2?
Follow up question. Will you be making one that will actually fit a Surefire XC2 properly? Can you make the rail style the exact same as the Glocks instead of picatinny...?

You've tried the Surefire XC2 with our rail and it didn't fit? According to SureFire it should fit any pic rail. We don't make Glock-style rails because most pistol rail mounted products are compatible with Pic Rails. That is not true of products produced just for Glock Rails so a Pic Rail should provide a more universal solution. It is of course possible that some products are made only for Glock rails but that is not indicated anywhere by Surefire in regards to the XC2.

What Kydex pancake OWB holster is compatible with this adapter and a Surefire XC1A mounted on a Glock19 second gen? For example, it’s just a bit too big to fit in a Raven Concealment Concealment Phantom.

If I mount GL19 adapter on my 19 gen 1, will your stabilizer brace fit?

Is This compatable with glock 23 gen 1??

Excellent product that was delivered on time. Fits my Gen 2 19 perfectly. One of the mounting nuts was not threaded (manufacturing defect) but was promptly replaced by company with an apology. Good product…good people!

Thank you!
My GR19L Rail arrived today. It mounted easily and works perfectly. Beyond that it fits like a glove and is a high quality, really elegant solution to my older Glock that didn’t have a rail. I really could not be more pleased!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
